🌾 Your land, your vision — our support 🌾

We’re here to walk alongside anyone who wants to make more space for nature—whether that’s a garden corner, a few acres, or a whole estate. Everything we do—this website, our resources, and our mentoring—is designed to help you set out on your journey with confidence, while making sure it stays very much your journey.

We know that every landowner’s vision is unique. Some people simply want a friendly sounding board and a little expert input; others are looking for a deeper partnership, seasonal guidance, or ongoing mentoring. To meet these different needs, we’ve created four levels of support:

  • 🌱 Support Visit – a chance to walk your land together, explore your plans, and share tailored ideas for next steps.
  • 🌿 Stewardship Visit & Nature Recovery Roadmap – a more in-depth visit and full written roadmap to help guide your vision.
  • 🌸 Across the Seasons Mentoring – building on the roadmap with seasonal check-ins, so you have support and inspiration throughout the year.
  • 🌳 Annual Partnership – the closest collaboration, where we become your biodiversity advisors, available whenever you need.

Across all of these, our aim is to:

  • Share knowledge so you feel confident shaping your land’s future.
  • Provide tools and ideas you can adapt to your own vision.
  • Demonstrate that nature recovery can be simple, flexible, and effective.
  • Foster connection—with your land, with others on the same journey, and with the wider rewilding movement.
  • Encourage action that nurtures both nature and your own wellbeing.
  • Support your legacy, so what you create benefits generations to come.

And we love doing this work, because it’s not just about healthier landscapes—it’s about people feeling renewed, empowered, and connected. When land thrives, so do we all.

🌱 Support Visit

Personalised guidance for your land and your vision

Every journey toward restoring nature begins with a single walk — and the Support Visit is that first step. It’s an opportunity for us to explore your land together, discuss your ideas, and uncover the potential that lies within your fields, garden or estate.

This visit isn’t an inspection or assessment — it’s a conversation on the ground, guided by your vision. We’ll listen to your priorities, share tailored advice, and offer clear, practical suggestions you can put into action straight away.

What You’ll Gain

  • Clarity and direction — understand what’s possible and where to start.
  • Expert insight, in plain language — learn how your soils, habitats and boundaries can work together for wildlife and resilience.
  • Confidence to act — we’ll outline practical next steps suited to your land, resources and goals.
  • Fresh inspiration — see how small actions can create big change for biodiversity, wellbeing and legacy.

How It Works

  1. Booking & Preparation – After you get in touch, we’ll arrange a date and learn a little about your site, its history and your aims.
  2. On-site Visit (typically half a day) – We’ll walk the land together, talk through your ideas, and share immediate guidance and observations.
  3. Follow-up Summary (optional) – You’ll receive brief written notes capturing key recommendations and next steps, so you can start planning with confidence.

Who It’s For

  • Landowners and managers wanting to begin their rewilding or habitat restoration journey.
  • Farmers or smallholders curious about integrating nature recovery into working land.
  • Gardeners or community spaces looking to make more room for wildlife.
  • Anyone who wants professional input, without the commitment of a long-term consultancy.

🌿Stewardship Visit & Nature Recovery Roadmap

Turning your vision into a clear, practical plan for nature recovery

Once you’ve walked your land and explored what’s possible, the next step is to shape those ideas into a clear, achievable plan.
The Stewardship Visit and Nature Recovery Roadmap is designed to do just that — transforming inspiration into a strategy that’s uniquely yours.

This service combines an in-depth site visit with a comprehensive written plan: your Roadmap to Nature Recovery.
It outlines exactly how to bring your vision to life — with tailored recommendations, priorities, and practical actions that work in harmony with your land, resources, and goals.

What You’ll Gain

  • A clear plan forward – see how your land can evolve step by step, balancing ambition with realism.
  • Tailored habitat strategies – from grasslands and woodlands to wetlands and scrub, we’ll map out what best suits your site and setting.
  • Joined-up thinking – understand how your habitats connect, supporting biodiversity across the whole landscape.
  • Confidence to act – know where to start, what to prioritise, and how to measure success.
  • A fundamental document – your roadmap is designed to create a foundation for your project, always on hand to reference

How It Works

  1. Discovery Call & Preparation – Before the visit, we’ll discuss your aims and gather any existing maps or plans.
  2. On-Site Visit (usually a full day) – We’ll walk your land together, discuss your ideas in detail, and assess opportunities for restoration and enhancement.
  3. Your Nature Recovery Roadmap – You’ll receive a full written plan — a portfolio of strategies and interventions, tailored to your site and vision.
  4. Follow-up Discussion – Once you’ve reviewed the roadmap, we’ll talk it through, answer questions, and help you plan your first steps.

Who It’s For

  • Landowners ready to move from ideas to a clear, actionable plan.
  • Farms, estates or community projects wanting to design nature recovery at landscape scale.
  • Anyone seeking expert insight and a tangible framework to guide their next decade of stewardship.

What Others Say

“I was looking to find a rewilding expert to help us get started with our 20 acres at home. I googled and found Richard who, from the get-go, was as excited about our project as we are. We made arrangements for Richard to travel down to us and he arrived promptly on the day, armed with his passion and wealth of knowledge he helped us make sense of our vision.

Richard provided us with a comprehensive report which is very exciting and we cannot wait to get started. Like us, if you are not sure, we recommend you just ask Richard. Also, his website has some amazing courses and we are looking forward to furthering our education with him.”

  • Anyone who values a trusted partner to share responsibility, insight, and enthusiasm for their land’s journey.

What Others Say

“A big thank you to Richard for initially reaching out to me when I was looking for information on rewilding a garden space. I purchased the full rewilding course and thoroughly enjoyed learning so much more about rewilding than I knew existed. The attention to detail and the way the course is set out makes it easy to navigate and I can go back to it again and again.

Had it not been for A Call to ReWild, I would not have had the confidence to go on a rewilding holiday, volunteer with a local forest trust, or probably have continued with my project. Richard has continued to be supportive, interested and generous in sharing his knowledge and if you are unsure at all, I would thoroughly recommend you go for it. I don’t think you will regret it.”
